Cactuar Figurine

A commissioned 3D printable model of a Cactuar from the Final Fantasy series. A skeletal armature was created in Blender to pose the mesh dynamically. The model was prepared for FDM 3D printing in Bambu Studio, opting for gyroid infill for maximum strength, tree supports to support knees and elbows, and doubling the number of walls around the foot.

The model was split into a character model and a base model, with multiple different base designs provided. The model was designed to stand just under 10cm tall, but could be easily resized in 3D slicing software. The client was happy with the model, and has reported it being popular on Etsy.
